Key West's Prana Spa Closing After 21 Years

 Prana Spa Key West announced Tuesday it will close this month after 21 years in business at 625 Whitehead St. in a century-old house.

“Our last day open will be Aug. 31,” owner Karen Badgett posted.

Karen has been with Prana the whole time, starting as a massage therapist straight out of school and working her way up to manager before buying the spa in 2016 from Mark Goldstein and Jonathan Harper.

“I did my best to carry on their legacy by providing the best customer service possible with kindness, compassion, and generosity,” Karen posted.

“I have trained many massage therapists over the years to be the best they can be, just as they did,” she wrote.

Prana is offering cash prices for massages. They posted dozens of photos marking the two decades in business and ask people to post their pics on their page’s post.
